Oil Painting Pet Portrait Commissions

A hand painted traditional oil painting of your beloved partner makes a wonderful gift, either as a treat for yourself or a loved one. My paintings are painted on top quality linen board with the finest oil paints so your artwork can be passed down through generations to come.

I’ll guide you through the process from taking good photos, sending different composition sketches through to you and making adjustments throughout to make sure your finished artwork will be treasured forever. If you are local to Brackley, Northamptonshire (within 30 miles or so) I can also come and do a photography session for a small additional travel fee (45p a mile) and use your chosen photo to do the painting. I love meeting the people, dogs and horses I am painting for so would love to do this! All photos will be made available to you and while I’m not a professional photographer they are excellent quality photos with good composition and light.

Prices start from £300 for an A4 painting to £600 for an A3 painting as a guide.
50% is taken up front, with the full amount payable on completion. I keep you updated throughout the process and can mock up different coloured backgrounds and compositions to make sure you will love the final result.
Paintings take 4 - 6 weeks from decision on a photo.
