Driven by impulse and immediacy; brushstrokes flew and paint splattered, pooled, and gathered momentum across the surface.

Contemporary in gesture, yet grounded in a lineage of artists who have studied movement, anatomy and connection for centuries. Horses and figures appear not simply as subjects, but as vessels for relationship.

Although this collection was created during an earlier chapter of my practice and much of it has now found homes, these paintings remain a foundational chapter in the evolution of my practice.
