This collection was created during an earlier chapter of my practice and much of it has now found homes. These paintings remain a foundational chapter in the evolution of my practice.

Driven by impulse and immediacy; brushstrokes flew and paint splattered, pooled, and gathered momentum across the surface.

Contemporary in gesture, yet grounded in a lineage of artists who have studied movement, anatomy and connection for centuries, horses and figures appear as vessels for relationship.

Equestrian Collection

My artistic journey started at about 8 years old with a book called Drawing Horses bought from the damaged books section of the local library (I still have this book and use it for reference!) and it is these beautiful animals that I have come back to time and time again in my paintings. Commissions in both my more expressive style and as traditional oil paintings can be discussed. Please see the commissions page for further details.
